FEED Project Execution
We plan and execute your Front End Engineering Design from concept to FID ready package
FEED Project
Execution
Front End Engineering Design is the phase where a selected concept is matured into a fully defined, technically and commercially robust package so you can take the Final Investment Decision and so your EPC contractor can execute with minimal change. When a FEED is under defined, the cost is paid many times over in change orders, schedule slip, and eroded returns during execution. Our team runs the complete FEED workflow, design basis development, process and multi discipline engineering to issued for design maturity, the full assurance review suite, an AACE Class 3 estimate and Level 3 schedule, and the EPC invitation to bid, with a controlled deliverables register and an auditable trail of assumptions and residual risk for your sanction decision.

FEED Project Execution workflow
Mobilise, gather data, and develop the Basis of Design; reconcile the licensor package and site conditions, then freeze the basis at a controlled gate.
Simulate the process, issue heat & material balance, PFDs and P&IDs (IFD), size major equipment and lines, and set the relief, control and safeguarding philosophy.
Run process, mechanical, piping/layout, civil/structural, electrical, and instrumentation workstreams in parallel to issued for design maturity, including the 3D model.
Execute HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA and 30 to 60% model reviews; track every action to closure in the revised deliverables before issue.
Build the AACE Class 3 estimate with quantified contingency, the Level 3 schedule, long lead item list, and the procurement and contracting strategy.
Compile the FEED report, open items and assumptions register, and EPC invitation to bid; support FID and hand over the design dossier to detailed engineering.

Every deliverable from basis to handover
Complete FEED Project Execution scope covering every calculation, drawing, specification, and construction support activity.
Outcomes of FEED Project Execution
- Completes the major hazard studies before design is frozen
- Embeds inherently safer and code compliant design into the basis
- Sets the relief, fire & gas, and safeguarding philosophy early
- Carries residual risk to FID transparently rather than hidden
- Establishes the statutory framework at design basis freeze
- Starts regulatory approvals off the critical path
- Documents a defensible, auditable design basis
- Aligns the package with recognised AACE and code practice
- Freezes scope so EPC executes with minimal change
- Anchors long lead items to protect the schedule
- Produces a clean handover dossier to detailed engineering
- Improves constructability through early model and layout review
- Delivers a Class 3 estimate with a credible contingency basis
- Cuts execution phase change orders and rework
- Protects the FID economics with quantified risk
- Optimises capex through correct early definition
