IEC 61508 is the foundational standard for the functional safety of electrical, electronic and programmable safety systems, and IEC 61511 is its application in the process sector. Compliance with either is not a certificate obtained once but a lifecycle obligation, a functional safety management regime that holds from conceptual hazard analysis through to decommissioning and is evidenced by a documented trail and demonstrable competence at every stage. We support both sides of that obligation. We help end users build or remediate safety system programmes to IEC 61511 through gap assessment, lifecycle procedures, verification and assessment readiness, and we help equipment manufacturers pursue IEC 61508 product certification through TÜV or exida by developing safety requirements, architectural constraints and the evidence for systematic capability and hardware fault tolerance. The result is a defensible compliance position that withstands assessor, regulator and customer audit.

Build competency matrix per role (FSEng, FSP, operator, technician), deliver training to TÜV / exida CFSE / CFSP certification standards, establish CPD programme with annual refresher and triennial recertification.

Compliance Verification & Certification

Engage third party (TÜV, exida, SIRA) for compliance certification per IEC 61511 / 61508 management framework, establish ongoing FSA cycle (Stage 4 every 3, 5 years), maintain compliance register with corporate HSE / corporate engineering.
