Support (ISO 45001 Clause 7)
Resources, competence, awareness, communication, and documented information
Support (ISO 45001
Clause 7)
Clause 7 is the enabling foundation that lets the whole health and safety system actually work, and our team helps you put that foundation in place across people, knowledge and information. Under sub clause 7.1 you determine and provide the resources the system needs to be established, run, maintained and improved. Under 7.2 you work out the competence that workers who affect safety performance must have and you make sure they have it. Under 7.3 you build awareness of the policy, of the part each person plays, of what happens when requirements are not met, and of the lessons from incidents. Under 7.4 you decide what needs to be communicated inside and outside the organisation. Under 7.5 you control the documented information the standard calls for and that the system needs to stay effective. This clause is the substrate that holds up the planning of clause 6 and the operation of clause 8, and we connect it cleanly into your existing people, finance and technology functions.

How the study is executed
A structured, facilitated process that runs from scope definition through close out and produces defensible, actionable outputs.
Per Cl.7.1, determine resources, financial budget, human resources, infrastructure, technology, align with corporate planning.
Per Cl.7.2, build competence framework, role mapped requirements, training, evaluation, integrate with CCPS PS Competency Model.
Per Cl.7.3, ensure awareness of policy, contributions to system effectiveness, implications of non conformance, incidents and outcomes.
Per Cl.7.4, define what / when / with whom / how / who communicates, cover internal and external (regulators, communities, suppliers).
Per Cl.7.5, design EDMS for creation, control (review, approval, version), distribution, retention, align with corporate IT governance.
Integrate Cl.7.2 with HR (training records, hiring), Cl.7.4 with corporate communications, Cl.7.5 with IT EDMS.
