The engineers behind the work
Arborion Global is built by a multidisciplinary team of chemical and process safety engineers who have spent their careers inside high hazard operations. The same people who author your study or design also carry the practical plant experience to make the findings work in the real world.
Expertise across every layer of protection
Process Safety Engineering
Our process safety engineers lead and facilitate Process Hazard Analysis across HAZOP, HAZID, What If and checklist studies, and carry that work through LOPA, SIL determination, Process Safety Management implementation, management of change, process safety audits and Pre Startup Safety Reviews. They work to Risk Based Process Safety, OSHA PSM and CCPS guidance.
Reaction Hazards and Calorimetry
A genuine differentiator for us. Our specialists evaluate reactive and thermal hazards using DSC, ARC and reaction calorimetry, interpreting thermal runaway, gas evolution and incompatibility risks through development and scale up. They have worked on demanding chemistry including nitration, hydrogenation, phosgenation, chlorination, cyanation, oxidation and other high energy routes.
Process and Detailed Engineering
Our process engineers deliver mass and energy balances, hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, control valve and line sizing, and pressure relief design to API 520, API 521 and API 2000. They produce P&IDs, PFDs and datasheets, support technology transfer and new product introduction, and manage CAPEX and vendor coordination.
Functional Safety
Our functional safety practitioners translate PHA and LOPA findings into safety instrumented systems, working across the full IEC 61511 and IEC 61508 lifecycle from SIL determination and verification through safety requirement specifications, design and proof test planning.
Fire, EHS and Sustainability
Our fire, environment, health and safety and sustainability specialists cover fire protection engineering, occupational health and industrial hygiene, environmental management, product stewardship and ESG reporting, so a facility is supported across its whole safety and sustainability profile.
Training and Competency
Several of our engineers also deliver training in process safety management, reaction hazards and Process Hazard Analysis, sharing hard won lessons so that your own teams grow the competence to sustain safe operations long after an engagement ends.
Chemistry we have worked with
Our reaction hazard experience spans some of the most demanding chemistry in the industry, the kind where getting the thermal and reactive picture right is the difference between a controlled process and a runaway.
Standards we work to
Every study and design is grounded in the codes and frameworks that regulators, insurers and licensors expect to see.
How our team works with you
Our engineers hold chemical engineering degrees and have built their expertise inside operating plants and specialist safety roles, so they understand both the theory and the reality of running a hazardous process. That grounding shows up in work that is practical, defensible and genuinely useful to the people who have to live with it.
We keep teams small and senior, we stay accountable to measurable outcomes, and we share what we know so that your own people grow stronger through every engagement. If you would like to understand the specific experience we can bring to your facility, our team is happy to talk it through.
